Douglas Bruce “Doug” Hodgins. Peacefully on Monday November 8th, 2021, in his 74th year. Survived by his loving wife Bronwen and beloved daughter Victoria. Also by his “Waterloo family,” numerous in-laws and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Muriel and Bruce Hodgins, his sister Anne Elizabeth and her husband Phil Miller.
Doug was a graduate of the University of Waterloo. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering allowed him to pursue a career he loved in environmental engineering. Doug also enjoyed travelling, gardening, bird watching, and collecting stamps and rare books on Arctic exploration. Most of all, Doug loved spending time with family and friends.
Doug requested no funeral service, but a private get-together at a later date.
