Dylan left us way too soon although he lived a very full and eventful life. The void he has left behind will never be filled. He passed peacefully with family by his side, after a horrendous 8-month battle with cancer, on April 21, 2024 at his Mom’s residence in Severn Bridge. Dylan was courageous in his battle with cancer and participated in all research requests to help further the knowledge of this rare lung cancer.
Dylan had a huge heart and the best laugh. He was smart and well informed and could talk forever on the things he loved. He had an internal driver determined to undermine arbitrary authority and called a spade a spade without cushioning the blows; mixed with a loving yet impassioned heart.
He is survived by his Mother Jackie, two sisters Corinne and Rosslyn (Tom) and two nephews Jackson and George. He is also survived by his one paternal Aunt Sharon and five maternal Aunts Chris (Murray), Natalie, Barb (Pat), Sherri, Julia (Greg), his cousins, his friends, and last but not least his puppy Bella.
Dylan has joined his Dad Richard Archibald, two maternal Uncles John and Danny Zanussi, his cousin Andrew, and his grandparents.
He will be remembered as a loving son, a very fun and awesome uncle, as well as a “work hard/play hard” type of guy to his family, friends and coworkers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Toronto Humane Society.
