Peacefully, with his loving family at his side, on Friday, June 8th, 2007 at th e Sunnybrook Hospital - Veterans Wing in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Earl. Loving father of daughter Patricia and son Edward. Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edward will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, extended family and friends. Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at K-1 Centre. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 from from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Interment, Westminster Cemetery at a later date.
