Edward Sai-Yeung Ng passed away unexpectedly at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family at Scarborough General Hospital the evening of Tuesday, September 14th, 2010. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen Oi Yuet, and is survived by his wife, Ann and mother Shok You Lee. He will be greatly missed by children Tony (Kathie), John (Lily), Michael (Lana), Steven (Siu Ling), and grandchildren Iris, Matthew, Zoe, Ariel, and Keira.
Eldest brother to siblings Michael, Welton, and Virginia, all of California, he will also leave a void in their lives as well as in those of his nieces, nephews and their children.
Edward was born in Tai San, China, emigrated initially to Hong Kong, and settled in Canada in 1972. He has worked hard his entire life to ensure that his loved ones were well cared for. He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, generosity, and optimism.
Our family has lost our patriarch and our anchor. We will hold our memories of Dad close to our hearts so that we may carry on without him.
