ERNEST LESLIE DANIEL passed away peacefully on May 9th in the care and comfort of his family. He will be remembered as the loving husband of Clara (2012) of over 60 years, devoted father of Andy and Kati (Phil German), proud grandfather of Joe (Michelle) and Peter (Sarah), wise and supportive uncle of Andras, respected brother-in-law of Louis Gulyas. In 1947 Ernie immigrated from Hungary and became a proud Canadian. He was always a gentleman; charming and dignified, interested in the world and in connecting with others. He was a kind, generous, thoughtful, and loyal friend.Visitation will take place at the Jerrett Funeral Home - Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON., L4J 1W3, 905-889-8889 Between 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday, May 13th. Funeral service and reception will take place at Thornhill Presbyterian Church, 271 Centre Street, Thornhill, at 11:00, Thursday, May 14th.
