

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend Filomena, who on March 2nd, 2022 found peace with God. Filomena is survived by Antonio, her husband of 60 years, her children Claudio (Claudia) and Laura (Tony), and her grandchildren Jessica and Daniella.
Filomena has gone to rest with her parents Celestino and Eleonora Di Lullo, her sister Maria, and her adored nieces Cristina and Teresa.
Filomena will be forever remembered as a loving, caring person who devoted herself to her family and her friends. She loved every moment she spent with them. Filomena was a devout Catholic who had a talent for baking and making people laugh.
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON.
Funeral services will take place Monday, March 7 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 222 Ridley Blvd, Toronto, ON followed by entombment at Forest Lawn Mausoleum, 4570 Yonge St., Toronto, ON.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Filomena’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
