Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 2, 2016 at North York General Hospital at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Chester (Chet). Loving mother of Janet and Mark. Dear mother-in-law of Brad and Anne. Proud grandmother of Martin, Alexander, Catie, and Diana. Survived by her brother David (Marion) Jeans, sister-in-law Jane and her family from Newfoundland. Predeceased by her brothers' Donald, John(Sylvia) and Rendell. Flora will be missed by her sister-in-law Zofia and family in Poland. Friends may call on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
