Suddenly, at home, on Thursday November 23rd, 2006, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Elsie for 53 years. Loving father of Kathy, Diane, Berney and his wife Debbie, Beverley and her husband Tuan Cao-Huu, Wendy and her husband Mitch Rabovsky. Cherished "Pappa" of Sean, Adam, Jillian, Alexander, William, Erin, and Ethan. Survived by his dear sisters Lena Aikins and Agnes Teeter. Berney will be dearly missed and lovingly remebered by his nieces and nephews extended family and many friends. Friends may call on Sunday, November 26th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the Chapel on Monday, November 27th, 2006 at 11 o'clock Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
