Grahame passed peacefully on the night of January 18th 2023. We take comfort in that the family was fortunate to have an opportunity to say our goodbyes and for all of our happy memories spent with Dad, Gramps, Senior, Pops. Grahame's face would always indicate genuinely how happy he was to see you and catch up. Often the "catch ups" turned to much loved stories of the past and all the family tales. Senior truly enjoyed the company of all, warmed easily to those around him and charmed all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Grahame worked hard in the building and renovation business for years. He took pride in his work and especially the building of the family home in Caledon and cottage in Haliburton, but the most pride was in his ability to pass on his knowledge and passion for building to his sons Grahame and Jon and his incredible work ethic to daughter Kristin. He was ever delighted with all of their accomplishments and took extra satisfaction in his having fostered their passion for their entrepreneurial pursuits.
Grahame is survived by his children, Grahame (Chloe), Jonathan and Kristin (Dave) along with his grandson Quinn (Jonathan) and mother of his dear children Judy.
He is also survived by his brother Ian (Kyleen), sister Tish (David), brother John and sister in law Mary, as well as many loved nieces and nephews; Sean, Alicat, Meghan, Sparky, Andrea, Catherine, Alec and Christopher. And not to be forgotten his dear friends Len and Dorreen.
Dad is pre-deceased by his parents Grahame and Margaret along with his younger brother Douglas.
Grahame will be remembered as a loving father and great friend to those who knew and loved him and for his smile, easy laugh, great stories and ability to engage with anyone
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Norwood Care facility for their compassionate care.
