Heather Naomi Morrison

Heather passed peacefully on May 11, 2024 at Glynnwood Retirement Home. Loving Mother to Pamela Valente and her husband Carmen, Stephen Morrison (Carole), Heather Mattacchione (late Gabriel) and mother-in-law of Sherri Morrison. Predeceased by her children Julie Stevenson and Harry Morrison, Lynda Colclough. Caring Nana to Vanessa, Michael, Trevor, Matthew, Adrianna, Melanie, Andrew, Jonathan, Tim, Andrea, Robbie. She will be remembered as a loving Nana to many Great-Grandchildren.

Heather is pre-deceased and has gone to rest with her husband Arnot Morrison and her parents Harry and Mabel Mizen.

Heather will be remembered as a loving mother who was devoted to family and loved every moment she spent with them. She will be remembered for her love of playing cards and carpet bowling at the Thornhill Senior Club. Heather will also be remembered as a Horseshoe Champion all across Canada.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Glynnwood for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home – Thornhill (8088 Yonge St).

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10am at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home – Thornhill (8088 Yonge St). Burial at Thornhill Cemetery will follow. Following the burial there will be a reception back at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home – Thornhill.
