It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helena Reijers, on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at her home in Toronto, Canada. She was born in Vierlingsbeek, The Netherlands on January 5, 1928 and is survived by her sister Ine Berendson; her five children, Karin, Jan(Sonja), Nick(Ellen), Helene(Dwayne) and Arthur; as well as her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There will be a funeral service on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 10:30am at R.S. Kane Funeral Home 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto. Donations to the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation Eye Clinic in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
