SMITH, Ian C. - (Retired employee of C.I.B.C. for 43 years) Peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2003 in his 76th year. Ian, dearly beloved husband to Helen. Loving father to Debborah and Maire and predeceased by his son Paul. Cherished Grand-Dad to Michelle, Paula, Sarah and Lauren. Stepfather to Kathy and Peter. Ian will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends. Friends will be received at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 11 o'clock. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
