Passed peacefully at age 67, with her children and sister at her side at Sunnybrook on November 4, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving mother of Sharon and Alex (Bernadette Pelliccione). Dear Nana of Logan, Nathan and Alexandra. Sadly missed by sister Sharon McKenzie, Ainslie Fry, nephews Len McAlpine, Jason and Brandon McCorquodale, and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friend Gloria Dynes, Jack Widdis, her Toys"R"Us family, her friends from Thornhill Country Club, and all the special people who have shared in Irene's life. In keeping with Irene's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. If desired, a donation to Sunnybrook Palliative Care, K1 East would be appreciated.
