Mrs. Janis Marie Passarelli Liotta

October 25, 1947 - April 23, 2015

It is with profound sadness and loss that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother and grandmother Janis Marie Liotta. Janis passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Thursday, April 23, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family. Janis was the loving daughter of the late Adolf and Iris Passarelli. Beloved wife of 46 years of Sal Liotta. Loving mother of Richard (Alison), Steve (Kathy) and Jennifer (Kirby) Kuindersma. Cherished grandma of Calista, Jack, Zach, Ben, Eliana and Nathan. Janis will be sorely missed by her sister Donna(Don) Brant. Also survived by her brother Leonard (Rochelle) Passarelli, her many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, aunts and her many friends, especially her former colleagues from Eaton's. Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home-Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario (south of Hwy. 407) on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 5633 Highway 7 (west of Markham Road) in Markham, Ontario. Interment to be held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, 7770 Steeles Avenue East (just east of Reesor Road) Markham, Ontario. Donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.
