Passed away peacefully on Thursday May 16th, 2019 at Valleyview Residence at the age of 88. Cherished Mother of Joy, Judy, and Adele. Precious Grandma of Jaden. Loving Sister of Yvonne “Gem", and the late Lucille, Pearl, Ken, and Lance. Former wife of the late Eric O. Butler. Jean will always be remembered by her cousin Melville Gooding and wife Lotys. She will be forever missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Valleyview Residence who cared for Jean over the years and especially made her final days comfortable. Immense gratitude also to Dr. Evan Friedman (Dentist) and his staff, and Dr. John Adams (Neurologist) and his assistant, Lisa.
A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday May 22nd, 2019 at 11am at Immanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church (418 Drewry Avenue, Willowdale). Interment Westminster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society.
