Jean Edwards

Passed away peacefully on Monday February 16th after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Maurice (Moe), survived by her loving children Janet Cadigan, Mark (Colleen) J.D. (Catherine), and her adoring grandchildren Jeff, Matt, Chris, Luke, Mike, and Sam. Jean will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her family and the friends she met throughout her life in North Toronto where she grew up, Willowdale, North York, Winnipeg, Calgary and finally Etobicoke. Although her family was always her first love, Jean had many passions including her time at London Life. She was also active with the Red Cross, VON, Church groups, Newcomers and her love of Bridge followed her wherever she was living. Jean thoroughly embraced life and its journey. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Brampton Extendicare and the Credit Valley Hospital Emergency Department for the outstanding care and love that Jean received while there. A celebration of Jean's life will take place on Saturday February 28 at 12 Noon, with visitation for friends and family starting at 10 am that day. The visitation and service will be held at St. George on Yonge Anglican Church, 5350 Yonge Street, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation, (Credit Valley Hospital).
