Jean Clare Taylor

Suddenly yet peacefully, on Saturday February 16th, 2008 at Shepherd Village, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Taylor. Loving and devoted mother to her seven children; Marlene, Phyllis and her husband Ian Fraser, Eleanor and her partner Jorn Sorensen, Doreen, Michael, Douglas and Catherine and her husband Theodoros Giannakis. Loving "Nana" to Danielle, Kelly and her husband Pat Guarnaccio, Ian Jr. (pre-deceased), Robert, James, Christine, Gregory and Alexandros and great-grandson Ian. Jean will be missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends at St. Margaret's Parish and Shepherd Village. Mom's gentle ways, her easy smile and accepting nature will always be missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 19th, and Wednesday February 20th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Queen of Scotland Roman Catholic Church (222 Ridley Blvd, Avenue Road south of the 401), on Thursday February 21st, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by our family.
