Jeanette Fraser

Jeanette passed peacefully with husband Ian and children Christine and David by her side on January 13, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. She is survived by her spouse Ian Fraser of 40 years, her children, Christine (Mark), David (Shari), her cherished grandchildren , Heather, Austin, and Fiora. She is also survived by her brother Ian, Sister-In- Law Elizabeth, nephew Ian (Izaskin) and niece Lee (Stephen) and three great nephews (Jack, Logan and Julen). Jeanette was the loving daughter of Thomas and Agnes Anderson.

Jeanette will be remembered as a loving mother devoted to family and loved every moment she spent with them. She was a social butterfly who would instantly make friends with everyone she met. Jeanette was known for her sense of humour, as well as a champion joke and storyteller. She loved music, reading, theater, curling, Highland Games and traveling back home to Scotland to be with family and friends.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at MacKenzie Health and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be on Thursday January 19, 2023, from 12-1 pm, followed by a service and reception and held at: Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St., Thornhill, Ontario, L4J 1W3)

A Celebration of Jeanette’s Life will be held in the Spring.
