Joan passed peacefully in her sleep at The Wexford Retirement Home in Scarborough. Joan is predeceased by her husband Daniel Corcoran, her parents Anthony and Mary-Ann Donnelly in Dublin, her brother Francis Donnelly, her sister-in-law Phyllis Donnelly, and her niece, Lisa Donnelly. Joan is survived by her children David (Kim), Carole (Mike), Martin (Joanne) and grandchildren Caitlin, Jake, Anthony, Michael, Kristy and Maguire.
Joan and her husband Daniel came to Canada in 1957 from their home in Dublin, Ireland. They both came from large Irish families and worked very hard to begin their lives in Canada. Joan worked at Confederation Life Insurance Company for many years as an office manager.
The family would like to express deep thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at The Wexford Retirement Home where Joan lived for 10 years. The 6th floor staff provided Joan with a safe and loving environment where she was happy and well cared for.
