Joan Linda Kealey

Kealey, Joan (nee Ramsay) of Richmond Hill, Ontario passed away on December 6, 2019 surrounded by her family. Joan beloved wife of Earl, loving mother of Aaron(Rachel), sister of Keith(Martha) of Low, PQ., sister of the late Shirley(Lindsay) Begley. At Joan's request there will be no memorial service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Joan battled Crohn's disease thru most of her adult life, displaying an incredible ability to mask her pain and discomfort, finally succumbing to the beast in her 74th year. Those who knew her loved her, those her meet her occasionally or for the first time often would refer to her as a very nice lady. Joan enjoyed the simple things in life, like sunshine, writing poems inspired by nature birds, rocks, trees etc... some of which she shared with others but mostly not. She loved day tripping to small towns in rural Ontario, an avid reader of Canadian authors, her library was her quite safe place. I could go on forever but not. You are the love of my life, my shining light who lit my path for 52 years, I will always love you and will forever be in my heart my "Very Nice Lady"
