Passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2015, in his 82nd year while doing what he loved. John, beloved husband of Helga for 48 years. Loving father of Nada Lecour (Christopher), and Suzanne Dub (Paul). Devoted grandfather to Lexie, Hannah, Holly, Ben, Ryan and April. Sadly missed by his siblings Helena Golob, Matthew (Mimi), Frances Cerar (Charles), Anthony (Vera), Jerry (Majda) and the late Aloysius Cardinal Ambrozic. Lovingly remembered by countless nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Church of The Good Shepherd, 21 Simonston Blvd., Thornhill, on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. Cremation.
