I have just belatedly learned of Kel's passing.  Please accept my condolences.  When I was a student minister at Willowdale United Church Kel and Betty were very supportive of my young family during a difficult time of separation.  I was so appreciative of their care and concern.  Kel was a very wonderful man to talk to about a host of subjects - a truly renaissance figure in his love of learning and support for teaching.  I remember both Kel and Betty fondly, with respect and deep appreciation.

We were sorry to hear of Kel's passing. Bonnie and I worked for a time with Kel in the 1980's developing some new and innovative educational software. Kel and Les Green worked with us representing the Large School Boards of Ontario. Kel's imagination, intelligence and concern for children shone through all our interactions, so much so that we remember him fondly all these years later. Truly a fine gentleman.

My deepest sympathy to all members of Kel's family. He was an inspiring mentor and friend to the educators who joined the staff of the Ministry of Education during his term as Director of Curriculum and in other senior administrative posts. I consider myself most fortunate to have been in that group. He will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the Crossley family on the recent passing of Kel Crossley. I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Crossley frequently when he, his wife and his sisters visited their dad's namesake school. Kel loved sharing his passion for education and learning with the Crossley students and his knowledge of history of the area and our school was greatly appreciated. He was a lovely man and will certainly be missed.

Dear Crossley family Dear Kel lived a full and good life of cheerful service to others. We met in Kingston, Jamaica in 1975 and were close friends, sharing faith and work. Just two weeks ago, Kel wrote me a lovely handwritten letter mourning John's death in 2013, as we had mourned Betty's death in 2010. I live in Peterborough and can't come to Saturday's service but my thoughts and affection will be with you all. Rosemary Ganley

We are saddened by the news of Kel's passing and we pray that his soul will be blessed with the peace and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ for all eternity in heaven. Both Kel and Betty were faithful supporters of the work of Missionaries of the Poor in Jamaica. I am deeply grateful for their assistance over many years in promoting our missionary work. So sorry to hear of Kel's passing. I always enjoyed my visits and talking with Kel. He taught me more about my own family than I could have ever found out on my own. Sylvia and I wish to send our condolences to Kel's immediate and extended family. Kel's passing was such a surprise since he had just been enjoying a wonderful time in Florida this Winter. My brother Ron reported what Kel enjoyed the most when in Florida was hearing the words "Kel, Supper's Ready".
