Died peacefully at home, on March 22, 2009. Loving husband of Maria for thirty six years. Loving father of David, Elisa and her husband Clinton Calderwood. Devoted grandfather of Sophia, and Bridget. Predeceased by his parents Noel and Bertha, brothers Gaston, Fernand, Luc, and Clovis. Survived by brothers Fr. Carol, Fr. Marcel and, Jean - Guy, sisters Giselle, Lucille, Jovette, Collette, and Gertrude. A dedicated and hard working teacher, who always put students first. He had a passion for classical music, travelling, history books, the outdoors and gardening. A special thanks to Dr. Kendall, and caregives JoAnn, and Vanessa. Friends may call on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (670 Sheppard Avenue East).
