He is survived by his wife Soon-Myung, son Stephen, daughter Susannah and grandchildren Amelia and Elliot. He is also survived by his four sisters and many nieces and nephews. A mining engineer who was very skilled and dedicated to his work, Jung was also an avid golfer, hiker and loyal member of the YMCA. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at RS Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street-south of Steeles at Goulding) from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Edward R. C. Church (75 Churchill Ave., North York) on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10AM.
Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for Jung at the Ottawa Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
