In loving memory of Ki Sung Yi, known affectionately as Keith, we mourn the loss of a remarkable man whose life touched countless hearts. Keith passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle after suffering a stroke. Surrounded by his cherished family, Keith transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an abundance of stories.
Born on May 22, 1953, in Inchon, Korea, Keith's life was a tapestry woven with love, humor, and wisdom. He wore many hats throughout his life, from athlete to artist, entrepreneur, and community leader. Whether capturing moments through his lens as a photographer, mastering the greens of a golf course, or gliding down snow-covered slopes, Keith approached every endeavor with passion and skill and embodied resilience and creativity in all he pursued.
Yet, amidst his many achievements, Keith's greatest joy came from his role as a devoted husband to his wife, Kyong Ja Yi, and a loving father to his children, Darren, Jonathan, and Catherine. His grandchildren, Ethan and John, brought him boundless happiness and pride. He delighted in their every joy and milestone, cherishing the bonds of family above all else.
Keith's presence illuminated and lit up every room he entered, his infectious humor and the many stories he told were unforgettable. He had profound wisdom and provided guidance that was invaluable. He was a pillar of strength for his family, his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Keith's spirit remains eternally bright, his memory a beacon of hope and inspiration and to live life to the fullest. As we bid farewell to a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, we find solace in the countless memories we shared and the love that will forever bind us together.
Rest in peace, dear Ki Sung Yi, knowing that you are deeply loved and profoundly missed.
