As I sit to write you this note, my heart is heavy yet filled with a motherly and grandmotherly affection that has only deepened over our 20 years together. In these trying times, I am reminded of your strength and resilience that lies within you, a strength that is both a testament to your faith and the trials you have overcome. Remember, you are enfolded in the loving arms of the Lord, and in my thoughts and prayers always. May His peace and our cherished memories be a balm to your soul in this difficult hour. We are recently learning about the passing of Kitty.

This is a little late but just want to say what a blessing Mrs. Barratt 
was to me. We often sat together in church. Some who didn't know better thought we were mother and daughter.

She was a pillar in the church - just learned from this link that she joined Toronto Baptist Church in 1998, 2 years before me. Strength and comfort for all her family at this time.
Look forward to seeing her in heaven with all the redeemed.

I met Kitty through the Graceway Bible Society.  She had traveled so far by bus in the cold dark night to attend the annual meeting and dinner.  When I offered to drive her home I was impressed at how far she had traveled to attend!  She wouldn't ask for a ride and only accepted when it was offered.  She was a tiny little woman who carried a big purse that was literally loaded down with gospel tracts.  She loved the Lord and wanted everyone else to love Him too.  She was such an encouragement to me.

I knew Ms. Barratt from Toronto Baptist Church. My condolences to all the family members and the Christians who were so close to her. May she rest well with the Lord.

Attending the funeral today, I was amazed at the tributes! Although I only met Kitty in person once at the last Johnsrud  Reunion at Ingrid & Stu's, I feel I know her... certainly her stamina, dynamic personality and eagerness to live life on life's terms!!! I also met her at the Oltman Zoom calls ...missed her today after the funeral, however her spirit was definitely there!
May her memory and the blessings she left for your family live on.!

We are praying for God's grace and comfort.  Mrs. Barratt was  a great encouragement and testimony of her faith in Christ Jesus.  She was faithful and loved to share the gospel.  Because of her salvation, she is now enjoying the presence of her Lord.

Condolences to the family.  I first met Kitty when I started to attend Northminster Baptist Church in 1995.  She was always sweet, welcoming and friendly.  Kitty was loved and respected by all at NBC. A true testament to being a servant of christ. She was dedicated to handing out tracts to the community and wherever she was.  She walked long distances just to spread the word of Jesus Mighty Name 🙏.  Memories of Kitty lives on. Our thoughts and prayers are with er family and friends 🙏. R.I. P

I have many lovely memories of  Mrs. Barratt from when we were members of Toronto Baptist Church.  One is that she loved giving gospel tracts to people. She was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus until the end.  Mrs. Barratt is now safely Home and we have a sure hope in the Lord that we will see her again one day. 

 To Mrs. Barratt's  dear family,  in this time of sorrow, may the peace of God ease your grief, comfort your hearts, and lift your spirits.

Our family met Kitty in her later years.  She visited Utah for a Johnsrud family reunion.  It was fun for our family to get acquainted with a cousin we didn't know we had until we were adults.  I knew she was a strong woman when she hiked up a steep mountain trail to visit a cave deep in the Rocky Mountains.  It was not an easy feat for a young person!  

As we grew to know her we could tell that her love of family and of her faith was just as strong, supporting her through significant challenges.
