Sadly passed on September 17, 2014, from cancer, at home with family. Cherished by nieces and nephews Kevin (Sara), Bryan (Laurie), Shawn (Karin) and Lucille (Marsha) Blainey, Marjorie Poole, Ian (Lucie), Barry (Lilliana) and Barbara Campbell and their children, brother-in-law Lorne Campbell (Eha), and friends. Predeceased by sisters Ellen (1995) and Eha (2004). Born January 11, 1931, in Winnipeg; BSc U.Man.; moved with her family in 1951 to Toronto for a lifelong career in science with the federal civil service, retiring in the '90s as Chief, Drug Inspection Lab, Ontario Region. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 21, 2014 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). In lieu of flowers, donations welcome to Circle 21 Initiative for Down Syndrome (Sick Kids) or Campaign for North York General Hospital.
