Passed away suddenly following a brief illness on Wednesday April 13, 2011 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Arthur Cox (1986). Adored mother of Linda, Marjorie Hanas (Barry), Ken (Deborah Gargrave), Don and Mary. Loving grandmother of Stephen (Siobhan), Shanna (Matt), Bryan (Bo) and Agatha and greatgrandmother of Curtis and Kyle. Mabel will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Private interment Claremont Union Cemetery.
