Marcello Chiappetta

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness, and with hearts full of loving remembrance, that we announce the passing of Marcello Francesco Chiappetta who left this world on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2024, at the tender age of 67. Born in Castrolibero, Cosenza, Italy, on June 19th, 1957.

He has now been lovingly reunited with his dear parents, Evaristo and Ada Chiappetta, in the embrace of Heaven.

Marcello was a deeply devoted and loving father to his two children, Marco Chiappetta (Lamees) and Lisa Clemente (Roberto) and their mother Francesca Chiappetta. His unwavering love and dedication to his children were evident in every aspect of his life, as he tirelessly devoted himself to their happiness, growth, and well-being. His commitment to being a guiding, loving presence in their lives was absolute, and his legacy of care and devotion will remain forever in their hearts.

He was a loving and devoted grandfather to his five cherished grandchildren, Mia, Sophia, Santino, Raffaele, and Valentina. Each of whom he loved with all of his heart.

He will be deeply missed by his sister, Elena Chiappetta, to whom he was an exceptionally devoted and caring brother, always by her side with unwavering love and support.

Marcello's loss is both tragic and immeasurable and we wish to take this opportunity to honour him in all the ways he touched our lives.

Visitation for Mr. Chiappetta will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes - Thornhill (8088 Yonge St. Thornhill).

Funeral Service for Mr. Chiappetta will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024 at St. Luke's Catholic Church (39 Green Ln, Thornhill) at 11am. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery (1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke).
