Passed away with her family by her side, on November 14, 2016 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Roy Benkendorf (1965). Devoted mother of Sharon Collins (Clem) and the late Ron Benkendorf. Cherished grandmother of Greg (Jamie), Beverly (Guido), Ryan, Jennifer (David), and Carly (Kane). Great-Grandmother of Julia, Sierra, Aiden, and James. Wonderful sister of Irene Kreutzer, and ten predeceased brothers and sisters. Family and friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment at York Cemetery. In memory of Margaret, donations would be appreciated to St. Bernard’s Residence (685 Finch Ave. W., Toronto, M2R 1P2) to thank them for their love and care for Margaret until she went home to the Lord.
