Following a brief battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Marilyn (Don Pillar), Philip Shaw (Wendy Elton) and step - mother of Jane Thurston. Proud grandmother of Brian Pillar (Stacie), Joanne Jeffrey (Alex), Graham Shaw, and Alex Shaw. Adored sister of Doreen Robinson and Jim Patterson (Pat).
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in the Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
