Martin Spott

Passed away at home, on Saturday June 30th, 2007, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Emma for 52 years. Loving father of Linda and her husband Karl Weiss, Monica and her husband Craig Burrill, Katherine and her husband Jeffrey Brown and Stephen and his wife Lisa. Cherished "Grampa" to Stephen, Jeffrey, Kristin, Lauren, Dylan, Alanna, Tyler and Emma. Beloved son of the late John and Barbara Spott. Martin will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends. Our family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Stephen Meda for many years of care and support as well as the compassionate team of doctors, nurses and staff of the Defibrillator Department at St. Michael's Hospital. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 4th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Thursday, July 5th, 2007 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
