Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Cummer Lodge. Pat, loving mother of Jackson Dunlop, grandmother of David and Shayne and great-grandmother of Cole. Dear sister of Lyle, Helen Currie (Alfred), Theresa Smith, and Kaye McEachern (Gerald) all of Prince Edward Island, and Eileen Veinot (Don) and Carol McPhee of Toronto and the late Vivian Alderson, Gerry, Bernadette Walsh, and Ivan. Pat will be missed by her many nieces and nephews from across Canada. Pat was born in Mount Stewart, Prince Edward Island and lived most of her life in Toronto. She retired as a teacher in 1988 from St. Edward's School in Willowdale. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15 from 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., at Goulding south of Steeles. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Ave. W.). Interment at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Prince Edward Island at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
