

Surrounded by her loving family Maureen passed away peacefully at home on Sunday August 7, 2016, in her 86th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Lorne, her son Rickey, and her grandson Rick.
Sadly missed by her daughters Melodie (John), Loren-Lea (Richard), Kara-Lynne (Brian), Jennifer (Neal), Joanne (Rick) and Heather.
She will be forever remembered by her grandhildren Amanda, Alexander (Jessica), Christopher (Katie), Amythest (Brendan), Holly (Jeremy), Sarah (Jason), Loren-Lea Kaila (Justin), April (Daniel), Joshua Miller, Jessica (Jay), Lorne (Chantal), James (Melissa), Jenn (Justin), Alex (Noabel), Dakoda (Bronwen), Adrian, Kenny, Raymond (Heather), Becky (Mike), Monique, Tiffany, Joshua Douglas (Jenna) and Nicole.
Adoring grandmere of Mackenzie, Ben, Luke, Sam, Emma, Colton, Rickey, Jade, Taylor, Cooper, Chase, Noah, Emma, Hannah, Logan, Rivers, Ben E., Dustin, Chase, Ryan, Adam, Maison and Kylie.
Maureen is the beloved sister of Velma MacNaughton, and is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A retired teacher, Maureen spent many years with the TDSB and finished her teaching career at Dundas P.S.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to her special caregivers, Jas, Patsy, Sandra, Katie, Tracy and Bobbi, and to her doctors, Dr. Donna Henrikson and Dr. Natalia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13th from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am in the Chapel at the R.S.Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles).
