Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Toronto East General Hospital at the age of 92. Devoted husband of Mary. Beloved father of James and his wife Helen, Olga and her husband James, and the late Sophie and her husband George. Cherished and caring grandfather of Cathy, Vicky, Cathy, Alex, Fanny, Irene, Nick, and David and great-grandfather of eight. Mike will be sadly missed by his family. Friends may call on Sunday, June 3 from 2-9 p.m. and Monday, June 4 from 4-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3840 Finch Ave. E.). Interment to follow at York Cemetery.
