(nee Mackenzie) - Passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 88 with her beloved husband, Robert, of nearly 60 years by her side. Devoted mother of Bruce and his wife Patricia. When granddaughters Jennifer (Lewis) and Kathleen came into the family, Isabel accepted and adored them as her own. With the arrival of her youngest granddaughter, Michelle, Isabel's heart grew double in size and the twinkle in her eye shone brighter. Isabel will be lovingly remembered by many friends and family for her kind and generous spirit, for her enjoyment of reading, crosswords and playing cards, for her love of their four-legged furry friends and most of all for how she cherished her husband and the time that they spent together and at their favourite place, their treasured cottage on Twelve Mile Bay. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto.
