Patricia Gertrude Wilson

(NEE HORTON) peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, sadly succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 in her 67th year of a truly blessed young life. She was the beloved wife of Russell George Wilson, and dearest mother of Linda (Coleman) and Lori (Murdoch), the dearest mother-in-law of Douglas Murdoch, and proudest grandmother of Brittney, Kaetlyn and Mathew Murdoch.

She was predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Harriett Horton and sister Donna. She will be sadly missed by her beloved sister Barbara Gee and her brothers Fred (Barbara), Don (Lise) and Brian (Michelle).

The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Unit lead by Dr. John Vu, Alison, Pam, Joanne, Sandra and Pam, for their wonderful support and comfort over the past few months.

A celebration of Pat's life, humor and her unequaled love of travel, food, family and friends will be held on Monday, May 5th at 1:00 pm at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles, North York). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
