Unexpectedly, with his loving family at his side, on Monday, September 3rd, 2007, at the North York General Hospital at the age of 79 years. Loving husband of Joan for 56 years. Devoted father of Chris of Oakville, David (Louise) of Mississauga and Janis (the late Michael Sullivan) of Montreal. Doting grandfather of Jordan, Morgan, Shauna, Graham, Scott, Sean and Quinn. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 5th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Memorial mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue, north of Finch Ave.), on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at 10 o'clock. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
