Pauline Lee

Pauline passed away suddenly at Greenview Lodge. She is survived by her children, Susan (Howard), Robert, and Diane (Russ) and by her grandchildren, Leanne (Kurt), Sarah (David) and Avery. She is also survived by two sisters Joan (Franklin, deceased) and Vicki (Kevin).

Pauline is pre-deceased by her husband, Richard, parents Henry and Pauline (Lowe) Marr, two sisters Muriel (Charlie) and Laura (Arnold), as well as by her son Michael and daughter Carolyn.

Pauline was born in Toronto, the oldest of 5 girls, where she earned a degree in Physio and Occupational Therapy and met her husband Richard (Dick) who was a medical doctor. Pauline and Richard enjoyed their family life together in Willowdale, where they were active golf members of the Bayview Country Club. After Dick‘s death in 2010, Pauline moved to a retirement home, where her lively personality was undiminished until her sudden passing on Thursday.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Greenview Lodge and at Chartwell Gibson Residence, as well as to those on 7 West at North York General Hospital, and to Emma at CLHIN.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, June 20, 2023 @10:30 am at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home – Thornhill, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3. Please note this is the North satellite location of Kane-Jerrett.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Pauline’s memory to North York General Hospital.
