Passed away on Monday May 18, 2015 at the age of 65. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Sarah. Treasured gran of Brayden and Kieran. Survived by her sister Margaret and brother Peter. Predeceased by her sister Charlotte and brother Bernard "the beeg". She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews around the world as well as her extended family, the Hamills, the Callans, the Moores and the whole McDermott family. Friends may call on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor R. C. Church (75 Churchill Avenue). If desired memorial donations to either the Canadian Down Syndrome Society or the Good Shepherd Ministries would be appreciated by the family.
