Ralph Bruce Heagle

Born in Toronto, August 14 1937, died peacefully with his daughter Cristine by his side at North York General Hospital on Tuesday, December 11 at 11:21 pm. Husband to Saara (1941-2016); father to Cristine, Andrew (Christine) and Susan (Christopher); “Poppa” to grandchildren Colin (Becky), Cameron (Elizabeth), Connor, Tristan, Violet and Sophie; brother to Penny (Ray); “GP” to great grandchildren Natalie, Brexton, Owen, Carson and Austin; and friend to HeyYou the cat. He had a love for cats and was known to bring home strays as pets. For most of his life, he never said no to a game of golf. In his last years, he was a member of a local bowling league and played bridge with his neighbours. He enjoyed a long and successful career in the curtainwall business. Rest in peace, Ralph. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, December 14 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 15 at 4pm.
