Sadly passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 17, 2008 at home at the age of 44. Beloved and dearest husband of Cathy (nee Gilchrist) of Richmond Hill. Loving son of Margaret and Dennis Mannion (predeceased). Loyal brother to Sharon Mannion of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by his nieces Jeneva Brown of Ottawa and Danielle Brown of Kingston. Proud son-in-law to Jack and Frances Gilchrist of Toronto and brother-in-law to Deborah Gilchrist of Maple. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family in England. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, neighbours and colleagues at the Toronto District School Board, as well as the staff at the Hotel Tryp in Cayo Coco, Cuba. Friends may call on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 12 Noon at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the main floor Chapel of R. S. Kane Funeral Home. Reception to follow. Private family cremation will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
