Robert Adams

It is with great sadness that the Adams family announces the passing of Robert William Adams on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:14pm, peacefully surrounded by family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret. He was a loving father to Bob, Steve, and Jo-Anne and their spouses Alda Melo, Sarah Ker-Hornell and Brian Hamilton. He was a most beloved grandfather to Robert, Ryan, Megan, Laura, Kassia, Victoria, Samantha and Jamie, and great-grandfather to Zoe. Our father's principles could not be compromised. His true character was centred on generosity and compassion towards the less fortunate. "We are our brothers keeper" was his philosophy. There will be visitation at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 140 Brooke St., Thornhill on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 1:30pm. Interment Thornhill Cemetery.
