Robert J. Fitzpatrick

With sadness, the family announces the death of a very special man, on November 22, 2008 at Valleyview Residence, in his 85th year after a lengthy illness. Survived by his loving family, wife Anne; his children Martha, Mark and his wife Francoise, and Susan; grandchildren Laurent and Caroline. Bob will be missed by his brother Rev. Norman Fitzpatrick C.S.B., sister Elaine and her husband Tom Comery, sister-in-law Edith and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother John and his wife Mary, and his brother Leo. Bob's gift for music, especially his exceptional talent as a pianist will be remembered by friends and all those who heard him play. Special thanks to the staff of Casa Comfort and Valleyview Residence. Friends and family may call on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held onTuesday, November 25, 2008 at 11a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (670 Sheppard Avenue East) Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice.
