	My family and I are saddened by Roland's passing that we only heard about today.



	I remember Roland as a a proud and devoted father on Chris' graduation day at Brock University in 2009.



	That was the first time I met him, but subsequently, I found out much more about his life from Chris, and from Lynn McDonald, a fellow parliamentarian who knew Roland when they were both MPs.



	I feel blessed to have known Roland. May he rest in peace.

	I met Roland when he was the intram priest at St. Jude's Angilican Church in Bramalea.  I was President of the Altar Guild at the time and had many dealings with him.  He was a very kind and generous man and I'll always remember him for that.

Roland was a leader and a man of passionately held views about human rights. He came to Parliament at at a key time in which to advance causes we believed in. It was an honour and a pleasure to campaign with Roland in Eglinton Lawerence. I will always remember his strength and commitment. My deepest condolences to Julie, Michelle and Christopher.

We were so privedged to be associated with all of you for so many years. As you celebrate his life may knowing that so many people share your grief help you through this time of sorrow. My deepest sympathy, Julie, to you and your family.

So many memories of the years we worked together on Christian-Jewish dialogue activities. My husband, Bill Dunphy and I had the greatest respect for Roland, his commitment and energy. I want his family to know that there are so many people who worked with him, or received the benefit of that work, who are marking this moment of his passing.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Roland. I fondly remember my days of caring for Jenny and Katie and being well received by the family in Toronto and London. May peace be with you, Brenda and family.

I had the great pleasure and honour to work with Roland during the 70s and 80s when he was first, Director of the League for Human Rights iof Bnai Brith and later, Federal Member of Parliament for Eglinton Lawrence. Roland developed a morality, value system and philosophy which led him to devote much of his career life to Human Rights and Equality. He was successful in finding positions which allowed him to have impact on society. At the time, he was particularly interested in the affect the church had on the Jewish people. He initiated and helped to develop programs in Christian/Jewish Dialogue, and anti racism education. He was a charming individual, a unique and special person and I know he will be missed. My condolences go to alll of the family at this time.

I was saddened to hear of Roland's death. I met him at Holy Trinity church in Thornhill when he was an assistant priest and I was parish nurse. We had many interesting conversations and I learned a lot from him. He was a very wise man. In recent times we have had phone conversations or met for lunches. We found that we had another connection. Julie's father was a cousin of my mother. My deepest condolences to Julie and family. Roland, May you rest in peace. Yours was a life well lived.

Dear Julie, Our deepest condolences to you and the family. To us Roland was the embodiment of a good neighbour. We will always remember that first day we moved into the neighbourhood and the first people to welcome us with a fruit basket and a warm smile were Roland and you. Since then we had many interactions, although they became few and far between in recent months due to Roland's poor health. He will be greatly missed!

I wish to extend heartfelt condolences to Julie and Roland's family. Even though I only knew Roland in recent years he has left an impact as a very gracious man and I came appreciate him as an interesting conversationalist with a good sense of humour. I also associated with his deep love for dogs,all animals in fact,but especially poodles. I have fond memories of several New Year's Eve celebrations spent in his company. He will be missed.

Dear Chris, Julie, Michelle and Liz, my deepest condolences go to you and your families. Roland was, and will always be a person of great decency, kindness and strong principles. He was a giant in the field of human rights, and a catalyst for interfaith dialogues which have brought together persons of different religions for the common good. I am proud and honoured to have been given the opportunity to work side-by-side with Roland, from whom I learned so much.

I extend my sincere condolences to Roland de Corneille's family in this difficult time. It was in early 1980 when I first met Rev. de Corneille, while living in Eglinton-Lawrence and working actively in his re-election campaign. He was a dedicated MP and served his constituents well.

Roland, his family and the circle he gathered around him during his League and MP days had a profound and lasting influence on me and ultimately who I am. I will always remember with great fondness those days and be thankful he was someone I had the opportunity to know and learn from. my deepest condolences to all.

Roland will be missed very much by our bridge club. He was an invaluable member of The Incarnation Book Club who contributed so much to the discussions. No one who was at the Jane Austen lunch will ever forget the grace before lunch. Rest in peace to a very special member of the human race. We were blessed to have known him.

Both Devan and I send out our condolences to the family in this tough time. We did not know Roland but after reading his obituary, we can both see where Adrienne gets her passion and drive from. What an amazing life he lived! We would consider ourselves fortunate to complete even a fraction of what he did. In Roland's memory we donated to Doctors Without Boarders through their direct website. All the best in this tough time.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. I had the pleasure of meeting, talking and playing bridge at the Church with Rolland. He will be missed.

Roland, my closest friend of more than 46 years, has assisted me in coming to Canada and welcomed me into his family, he guided me and shaped me throughout the years, he was my mentor, my educator, my strength, my rock. He has my admiration for what he stood for in bringing Christians and Jews together and inviting me to work with him in this field. He has my admiration for what he fought for in his pursuit of human rights for all. He always spoke with much conviction and his actions commanded attention. He touched so many lives in an impactful and meaningful way. He was always there for me when I needed help or advice. He introduced me to Poodles, which led to my lifelong interest and passion in the showing and breeding of these fascinating creatures. Roland, you have my eternal gratitude. I shall miss you desperately, dear friend.

I send my prayers to you Julie and to the family. I remember Roland well from Holy Trinity Thornhill. My late Father, Harold Sanderson, held him in high regard and years ago they met again at Holy Trinity and would have talked a lifetime if Mom had not intervened!!!
