Rolf A. Klosa was born on the 23rd of November 1933 in Koblenz, Germany to Andreas Lukas Klosa and Kathe Mathilde nee Loose.
Rolf immigrated to Canada in 1955 and began a career in banking where he met his future wife, Gail Kruz. They married in 1965 and built a house together on Pineway Blvd. where they lived for over 50 years. After leaving the banking world, Rolf built a successful financial services business specializing in international estate planning and investment.
Rolf is survived by his two sons Robert and wife Katherine and grandchildren Emily and Elizabeth and Richard and his wife Sandra and grandchildren Rowen and Adelaide.
Rolf was predeceased by his wife Gail in 2018, his brother Arnold and his parents Andreas in 1998 and Kathe in 2006.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes – Thornhill (8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON)
A Prayer Service will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes – Thornhill (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON) on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10:30am. A private Entombment will take place following mass at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON)
