

Junto a sus padres Saliba y Victoria Asusa y sus cinco hermanos(as) Jorge, Tanas, Elena, Odette y Furjon disfrutó de sus primeros años de vida en Palestina.
En 1951 se casó con Ángela Miguel con la cual construyó una vida hermosa junto a sus cuatro hijos, Betty, Emil, Nina, Laila y su esposo Steve, Angie y su esposo Shane y sus bisnietos Rylan y Rhys. Durante el curso de su vida para Salameh fue de primordial importancia enseñar a toda su familia a amar y respetar a Jehova y su organización.
En 1942, Salameh reconoció la verdad biblica que había estado buscando después de leer varios folletos bíblicos que respondieron a sus preguntas bíblicas. En 1947 se bautizó en Trípoli, Líbano. Celosamente compartió las verdades bíblicas con su familia y con cientos de personas interesadas en la verdad de la Biblia a lo largo de sus 70 años de servicio a su Dios Jehova. Su deleite era hablar del Reino de Dios y su propósito para la vida y la tierra tanto en el Medio Oriente, Colombia y Canadá.
Salameh generosamente ofreció su tiempo y sus recursos para mejorar la vida de otros durante. Durante su vida su generosidad no tuvo límites.
Salame será recordado por su familia y sus muchos amigoscon mucho amor!
Él será recordado por su amor incondicional por Jehová y su organización, su animada personalidad, su inagotable creatividad, su gusto por la buena mesa, su gran generosidad y su deleitable hospitalidad Mediterránea.
Salameh solía decir "lo mejor aún está por venir"!

Salameh was born in Jerusalem, Palestine in 1919 and shared a wonderful life with his parents Saliba and Victoria Asusa and his 5 siblings, Jorge, Tanas, Judith, Furgon, Elena. In 1951 he married Angela Miguel and shared a beautiful life thru the course of many years with their children, Betty, Emil, Laila and her husband Steve, Nina, their grand daughter Angie and her husband Shane and his great grandchildren, Rylan and Rhys. During his life, family was very important to him and teaching them to love and respect his creator, was of utmost importance.
In 1942, he recognized the truth after reading a booklet, as he got answers to all his questions; and in 1947 Salameh was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tripoli, Lebanon. He zealously shared the Bible truths with his family and dozens of interested ones. His zeal and loyalty was an example to the well over 70 family members that learned to love Jehovah. He immediately embarked on a life course of helping hundreds of people, in the Middle East, Colombia and Canada to learn Jehovah’s purpose for life and mankind in general.
Salameh generously donated to the well being of others by freely giving up his time and resources to better their lives. Hence, he touched the lives of many people. For Salameh, generosity had no limits.
Salameh will be remembered dearly by his family and hundreds of friends by his love for his God, Jehovah, his lighthearted and adventurous spirit, his creativity, his endless love of good food, his overwhelming generosity and his one of a kind delightful middle eastern hospitality.
Salameh used to say “the best is yet to come”!
