It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Sandra on October 19, 2011, at the age of 50, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Devoted wife and soul mate to Richard and loving mother to Michelle and Matthew, Sandra was a star that shone brightly during her short time on this earth. She will be sorely missed, by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the St. Matthew the Apostle Anglican Church (80 George Henry Blvd) at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
