Sherman Marsden McCarthy

Sherman was born in Victoria District, St. Catherine Jamaica on October 31st, 1959. At the age of 15 he migrated to Canada where he later married his wife and best friend of 33 years, Viviene. He was a devoted father to his four daughters, Kailia (Brad), Danielle, Sharie and Kendra, and a loving papa to his 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan and Ryen.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his parents, Ms. Linda Mae Martin and Mr. Roy Davis. He will be forever missed by his four brothers Garth (Pauline) , Orlando (Romaine), Wesley (Sandra) and Douglas, his three sisters Sharon, Shirley (George) and Alice (Winston), his eleven nieces and nephews, four grandnieces, one grandnephew and all his extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 16th from 5pm-9pm. The service will take place on Saturday, February 17th commencing at 10:30am.

Both viewing and service will be held at R.S Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario M2M 3W9.

Following the service, a celebration of life will be held in Sherman’s honour at Casa Ricca Banquet Hall, 4801 Steeles Ave West, Toronto, Ontario M9L 2W1, beginning at 12:30pm.
