Silvia Martini

It is with great sadness that the Martini Family announces the peaceful passing of Silvia Martini, on October 15, 2014 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Flavio for 53 years. Devoted and loving Mother of Mary Lisa (Leo, predeceased) and Tina (Marco). Cherished Nonna of Vanessa and Matthew. Silvia is survived by her sister Flora. She is predeceased by her sisters Adelia and Nina. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all of her immediate and extended family and friends. Her love and devotion to family, her selflessness and strength of character will live forever in our hearts and minds. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Razavi and all the doctors and nurses at Humber River Regional Hospital - Finch Site, for their wonderful care, compassion and support. Friends may call on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 4-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West (Thornhill, Ontario). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Silvia's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
